The iconic Les Paul design we have come to know and love was retired in 1960, but a resurgence in its popularity from rock stars demanded the line to come back in 1968. This 1969 Goldtop Les Paul is from that first year, before it took on distinct Norlin-era details to the headstock size and the minihumbuckers in replace of the P90s. This example was refinished, grover'ed, and knobs replaced. This guitar is in excellent playing condition with a thick/comfortable neck.
