Neck Details: Honduran mahogany neck with bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. The neck has been refretted, during which the neck binding was removed and then reglued. The fingerboard has been lightly planed. The ninth fret inlay has been replaced, and the tuners have been replaced. There are several set screw holes plugged in the back of the headstock from the footprint of the original tuning machines.

Electronics: The guitar has been rewired and the pickups are original. The bridge pickup lead has been lengthened. Three-position selector switch with volume and tone controls for each pickup.

Pickup Measurements: Neck 8.25K, Bridge 6.84K

Hardware: The knobs, tuners, Bigsby, bridge and bridge studs are not original to the guitar. The "lightning bar" bridge and the Bigsby are both vintage parts. The pickguard, control plates, pickup covers truss rod cover, the strap buttons, pointers, switch tip, switch chip, and nut are original.

Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in good condition with average wear from age and use. The finish has dulled, and is weather-checked, with scratches, dents, dings, and areas of finish wear throughout. There is some buckle rash on the back of the body. The hardware has a strong patina.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are narrow and medium height, with mild surface wear in the first position. The serial number dates to 1956.
